In many cases this can come in handy because people are doing wrong many times but when they think of this quote they can know to stop doing this. So this can help many people in many situations to do whats right then whats wrong. This statement came from a wise man which can help us achieve many goals if we just follow this statement. Like if someone told you to jump off a bridge and everyone is doing dont do it or else you'll die. Overall just dont do something that is popular but not right.
